Impact Stories

Consent-first stories of the people and families you serve.

A mentoring program could turn a volunteer's notes into a story families are proud to share.

Impact storytelling

What teams use it for

  • 01

    Beneficiary and volunteer stories

  • 02

    Program spotlights for your website

  • 03

Story excerpts for grants and appeals

How it works

Three calm steps

  1. 01

    Tell it about your work

Share notes from a volunteer or staff member, with the person's consent. It learns your programs, your voice, and your numbers once, then keeps them close.

  2. 02

    Ask for what you need

Ask for a story for your website, a newsletter, or an appeal. Plain words are fine; no prompts to master.

  3. 03

    Review, then share

A warm, respectful story with names changed where consent calls for it. Nothing goes out until you've read it and made it yours.

Maria arrived with two bags and a toddler.

Six months later she handed us a key.

"It's small," she said, "but it's ours."
